Tanzania

D4I works in several capacities in Tanzania including planning and stakeholder engagement, plus operationalization, assessment, and dissemination of research findings. This work includes multi-modal technical support along with discussions with service providers, managers, and policymakers to assess and use health indicators. D4I also supports the Every Newborn Action Plan and Ending Preventable Maternal Mortality (ENAP-EPMM) objectives through tools aimed at enhancing the collection of data on maternal and newborn care outcomes. This data can then be used to inform interventions, programs, and policies on maternal and newborn health.
