Burundi

To address health challenges in Burundi, in 2019 USAID launched Tubiteho, an integrated health service delivery project. The project is implemented by Pathfinder International to improve the health of Burundians, especially women, children, and infants in 16 health districts across six provinces. D4I is conducting the final evaluation of the Tubiteho project. D4I is partnering with Centre d’Etudes et de Recherche en Population et Développement (CERPED), a Burundian research firm, through all steps of the evaluation—protocol and tool development, data collection, transcription and translation, coding, analysis, writing, and dissemination.

Evaluation of USAID/Burundi’s Tubiteho Project
D4I and local research partner CERPED are evaluating the USAID Tubiteho project. The evaluation includes primary qualitative data collection through interviews and focus groups, a review of project data and documents, and a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis with key stakeholders in Burundi.
