Data for Impact’s Activities

D4I uses innovative methods to generate strong evidence for program and policy decision making. D4I works globally and within 32 countries across nine health technical areas and three cross-cutting areas. Across all countries, D4I has integrated capacity strengthening and gender into all activities. D4I works predominantly in family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) and maternal and child health (MCH) topical areas.

Since the start of D4I in 2018, the project has worked in the following technical areas: adolescent health; child protection and care; counter-trafficking and refugee support; COVID-19; environment; infection prevention control (IPC) and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); FP/RH; infectious disease, including HIV/AIDS and malaria; MCH; food security and nutrition; health systems strengthening; private sector engagement; and health supply chain management.
