D4I workshop with front-line child protection workers in Colombia. © 2023 Data for Impact Go back to countries map Colombia In Colombia, D4I has provided technical assistance to the Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar (ICBF) to strengthen the collection and use of high-quality routine child protection data. The project has worked with front-line child protection workers to improve usability of the Sistema de Información Misional (SIM), which was inadequately capturing child protection data. D4I has assisted subnational staff to determine the data needed for decision making to improve and expand the visualizations available on ICBF’s dashboards. The project has engaged stakeholders from all levels of ICBF to develop monitoring and evaluation indicators for the institute’s new case management system. © 2023 Tory Taylor/Data for Impact Quality Routine Data for the Provision of Child Protection and Care in Colombia D4I has supported the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF) with improving data capture and use for front-line child protection teams and in establishing M&E indicators for a case management method.
