Gender Competency Training of Family Planning Providers in Ghana
Gender competency refers to the knowledge, attitudes, and skills that can help FP providers reduce gender-related barriers experienced by their clients. To strengthen the gender competency of FP providers, USAID recently supported the development of two new resources: a self-assessment tool to measure gender competency (developed by D4I in a previous phase of this activity), and an online course (developed by Human Resources for Health 2030 and hosted by Chemonics).
